Webbro Profitools was founded in 2011 by Thomas Weber. Since March 2019, his son Lorenz Weber has been a member of the management team. Founder Thomas Weber has been deeply involved in the field of automotive repair for more than 40 years and still repairs himself today. We know the difficulties and challenges that vehicle refinishers face on a daily basis. These many years of experience combined with the unique composition of our innovative team are the key success factors for our products. Across all product development processes, our ideas are implemented quickly and deployed and tested in parallel at various vehicle painting centers over a period of several months. After these test phases, we focus on the versatile feedback from users and can thus optimize our products accordingly. began in 2011. A vehicle door had to be removed due to color tone problems and mounted on a rotary painting stand in order to quickly perform a color tone match. The deadline was pushing and once again complications arose during the disassembly of the door panel - a solution finally had to be found!
After a lot of fiddling around, developing and testing prototypes, the Webbro Profiadapter was born - a system that allows vehicle doors to be clamped onto a standard rotary painting stand without having to disassemble the door panel. All the problems such as broken plastic clips, uncertainties with partner workshops regarding responsibility for mounting and dismounting the door trim and the resulting tear and wear on the door trim were now a thing of the past. In addition, the time and cost savings are enormous. Due to changing hinge types, the professional adapter was supplemented in 2014 with a new mount, especially for new Mercedes Benz and models of other manufacturers. In addition, in the following years, the accessories of the Profiadapter were expanded to include a wall mount and an SUV side strut. As car manufacturers increasingly rely on hinge types with both hinge pins pointing downwards, the Profiadapter "SF" was developed in 2021. With a clamping mechanism that can be operated without tools, these vehicle doors can now be easily secured against falling down while rotating.
In 2018, we began developing the Webbro Workcenter, a workshop trolley specially designed to meet the requirements and needs of vehicle refinishers. With the Workcenter, the enormous potential of paint preparation can be fully exploited. All the tools and materials required for repair and paint preparation find their place in the Workcenter. The heart of the Workcenter is a sorting system in which all the relevant abrasives can be stored neatly and quickly accessible. The Workcenter has been available since the beginning of 2022. Numerous body stores and paint stores are already benefiting from the extraordinary advantages of the Workcenter and have been able to significantly increase their efficiency in paint preparation while at the same time massively reducing sandpaper consumption.
